A Panel has spent the past six months visiting places across the country, witnessing first-hand how public services are responding and adapting to austerity. It is clear to us that places are modernising, with pockets of real innovation emerging. The aim of this report is to encourage that sort of transformation across the country at a greater scale and faster pace. All the signs are that public money will remain tight so, moving ahead, we need to re-think how we deliver public services across agencies and continue to break out of old models of delivery.
